CREATIVE WELLBEING: Nature Doodling

Sunday 28th April

CREATIVE WELLBEING
Nature Doodling

Unlock the joy of nature doodling – no drawing expertise required! Learn the art of observation and discover the therapeutic benefits of doodling nature for your health and wellbeing.

Green Sketching or ‘doodling’ is a movement to develop a deeper connection with nature through the creative experience of sketching. It’s not however, about being great at drawing! Anyone can do it. The aim of Green Sketching is to learn how to see, not how to draw.

The focus of this Green Sketching workshop is on observation, not artwork; enjoying nature, not learning about it; sketching in your own way for your own wellbeing.

The benefits of Green Sketching include – helping you to see and notice more, improving memory, slowing down, focusing and being mindful, improving mood and lifting the spirits. And all of these things help to reduce stress and anxiety and draw on the healing power of nature.
