Thank you to all who took part in the Shap Farmers’ and Makers’ Market on 27th May.,
Special thanks to those who brought sheep, sticks, bees and information and who shared their knowledge with visitors and those who demonstrated Hooky Rug making, Wool Spinning and Knitting for the opening day of the ‘Our Common Heritage’ exhibition at The Old Courthouse. 
The exhibition continues at The Old Courthouse until 18th June there’s lots of information and old farming artefacts to see – or you can have a sit down to watch the video of  farming/commons images or listen to recordings of interviews with some farming characters past and present in Westmorland.
