A 200 Mile Coast to Coast Nature Walk

Wednesday 15th May

A 200 Mile Coast to Coast Nature Walk

“from The Lost Words © Jackie Morris”

In June 2019, Jamie walked 200 miles across Northern England to fundraise for “The Lost Words” nature books for 200 Cumbrian schools, visiting communities and schools each day along the way. His adventure involved 1000 children, a royal visit, a gallery opening and even a mountain rescue. And lots of wildlife. Expect music, stories and art – suitable for all ages.

#WilderCumbria is a growing movement to tip the scales back in nature’s favour and make our county a much-needed wilder place, for people and wildlife.

It’s about individuals, communities and organisations taking action to help nature in their area – and if you need support, our team can provide it in lots of different ways. Read on to find out how we can help you to help nature.

Doors open 7pm

Talk starts at 7.30

Cumbria Wildlife Trust is a wildlife conservation charity.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust cares passionately about wildlife and wild places – we’re here to put wildlife back into our land and seascapes to make Cumbria a wilder county with more space for nature.

We restore and connect wild places, work with nature to tackle the climate emergency and support people to take local action for wildlife.
