Bats Talk & Walk
with Eve Borrino
Join local bat expert Eve Borrino for an evening of bats!
Starting at 7pm, Eve will give a short talk on the different species that can be seen in the UK before we walk a short distance to listen out (using bat detectors) for these amazing and often misunderstood mammals – out and about as darkness falls!
We will be meeting at The Old Courthouse before walking about a mile on paved paths to the banks of the River Lowther.
It will be dark – so please bring a torch, wear suitable clothing and footwear.
The talk is free to join – but, if you can, please make a donation on the day to help us run these events.
The talk starts at 7pm on 28th April
at The Old Courthouse, Shap.
Parking is available at the venue but limited.
Please car share if at all possible.
